TOEFL Preparation I and II

The Florida English Language Institute offers two TOEFL preparation program courses to assists students with academic English language proficiency necessary for future placement in an American universities. Often strong English oral or reading skills alone are not enough to guarantee success on the TOEFL exam, therefore, Florida English Language Institute offers two TOEFL Preparation Classes based on the students prior English academic assessment or previous TOEFL scores.

To succeed on the TOEFL exam, students need specialized skills and test-taking strategies based on the test material.

• The comprehensive program is designed to study the four sections of the test (listening, speaking, reading, and writing), analyzing questions to expect in each section.
• Students will spend intensive time practicing on academic skills such as listening comprehension, note-taking, summarizing, and paraphrasing.
• A practice textbook and a variety of materials are used to discuss, critique, apply skills and testing strategies which students need for a successful score accepted by American universities.
